In 2018, the screening program for the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) was launched as a significant step in the realization of healthcare amelioration in Egypt, orchestrated by President El-Sisi's emphasis on the health and well-being of the Egyptian citizen.
Now, the result of this screening program is currently published in one of the prestigious journals in the World (New England Journal Of Medicine).
